Backing plate for harbor freight DA

Hi guys I am planning to buy the Lake Country 5" backing plate for my harbor freight DA polisher. I just wanted to check if anyone knows it will be compatible? The thread size for my machine is 5/16"-24UNF. Are there any other factors that might make this not compatible?

the lake country DA backing plate will work just fine as will the megs and b&s DA backing plates as well...

That's what affects the compatibility; I got the Chemical Guys backing plate (b/c I have HexLogic pads) and it worked like a charm!
