Bout to cry, well not really. But almost.
OK, please ignore teh big scratches. if you can do that. haha This is my trail jeep and i already cut most of the scratches out, just wanted it to look better. ;) It was horrible.

Anyways i think the pic will explain all. Ive tried everything to fix this *marring*? Ive got the full XMT polish line and many pads... Im using a PC.
I dont know what im doing wrong here, it seems everything i try just either leaves it as is or makes it worse. HELP!

You are not doing anything wrong, you just need something with a little umph.
You will need a rotary and a wool pad for something like that, may even need
a little wet sanding.

before wet sanding.... try some true cut compound

I should have said leave the wet sanding as a last resort.

lol.... ya most people's butts pucker when you say "wetsand" or look like a deer in headlights.

although, some of that stuff looks pretty deep, he might have to resort to it. 2500, then 3000 then compound wool so on and so forth

Dudes, what are you guys looking at? The scratches? or the marring stuff. Im not so much worried about the scratches as i am the marring. It is after all a trail jeep. haha

Found out that i think my pads are drying out due to the LOW humidity and hightemps.. Even using the conditioner before hand they still dry out.
There HAS GOT to be a better way than this. haha

But it looks 100% better.

I think.
