They talked about this product on this week's episode of the TV show Corvette Nation (on the Velocity channel). Claim it lasts 10 years. Anyone see the show or familiar with XPEL?

I saw the show as well. I have x-pel on my headlights. I would say they have been on there for almost 3 years and they still look great. These were brand new OEM replacement headlights.

That's the PPF I have, and
highly recommend.

I have XPel as well. The film itself holds up well. The edges are where it gets a bit tatty. It's not perfect, but it's better than the front of your car getting blasted by rocks. Don't expect it to be invisible, but the car can still look very good.

I bought the door edge guard film and love the way it looks or should I say doesn't look. You can't see it. The only thing you have to do is after waxing run a detail brush along to edge.

Thanks for the replies. So do any of you guys have the XPEL film on parts of the car and a liquid coating (cquartz or whatever) on other parts? How do they compare?

I looked at the XCEL website and they offer several different films. I got the impression the one on the Corvette Nation segment was covering the entire car but could be wrong. They were apparently using the XPEL Ultimate since that's the one with a 10 year warranty and self healing.

I recall some manufacturers (Infiniti for one) offering self-healing clearcoat for a while but they discontinued it I believe. Not sure if self-healing spray-on vs film are comparable though.
