I found these in my computer and wanted to share these with you guys! No wonder this thing is expensive, it's pretty much pampered like cows from Kobe, Japan.

Very nice pictures, that is one sweet looking engine. I know a few of my friends have been holding out for the new NSX and they can't wait to get there hands on them.

I'll take the blue one....blue one is mine ;)

Just look at the reflection, I wonder if it has swirls though ;)

Hopefully they polish them right out of the factory! I love NSX's and I'm hoping I can own one someday.

The pic of the tech leaning into the interior console took me back a few years when I was updating my audio system. You really see the quality of the built when you start taking apart the NSX.

Nice pics...

I've been in quite a few American and Canadian OEM assembly plants and I have to say, Honda has the cleanest plants around.

The 5-S philosophy (a way of organizing and managing the workspace) and Kaizen mentality (Continous improvement) is top notch.. Nothing like walking into a Honda plant. I especially like the white jumpsuits you will find in the Honda plants... They just say "clean"

Compare that to some other OE's plants and you almost feel like you have to detail yourself to get the soot off...

Great pics. Theres a turbo NSX once in awhile out with us while we're on track, done by Xtech or something like that? He keeps up with us (we have about 515rwhp), well balanced car. Even stock they handle great but the power was lacking, when my buddies stock NSX and our Viper was basically stock he'd be way behind at Sebring Speedway. Problem with the NXS was Acura priced themselves outta the market as it didn't have the catchet or power of other cars.

And I hope they don't flop again with the new model, I was just reading some stuff that their trying to price around 200k, and regardless of V10 or not I and other don't think they can pull it off, especially on the bland designs they've shown so far. One of the mags even said they need to go back to the drawing board. Even at a 150K or so, hard time competiting when the Gallardo is smack in that range.

:iagree: 100%

I wasnt aware that they were built with such quality in mind though, looks like all hand built

They were all hand built.
The new Acura replacement designs are horrible IMO. Must be mid-enginge and 450+ HP. 90-120K should be the target price.

Kaizen, sounds so familiar!

Man there's some great info in this thread. I woulda thought that all car manufacturing plants are clean. I agree that Honda plant is very very clean, it looks brand new.

Overpriced? Nah. You couldn't buy that kind of quality at the prices it sold for. Outdated? You bet! It was designed in the 80's but was still looking the part(timeless) when it was retired a couple years ago. They're so outdated that a decent specimen will still cost you north of 50k!
