I looked at my bottle of P21S paint cleanser and notice it said it contains petroleum distillates. What does a petroleum distillate do for automotive detailing products? First thing I think of when I see or hear petroleum is fuel for some reason, but then there's other things that are made out of petroleum that don't sound harsh, such as petroleum jelly.

Waxes use petroleaum distillate solvents as a carrier system (lubrication) and to ensure that the wa is softened to enable its use
