Greetings,
What are some of the most hydrophobic detailing sprays out there?

SONAX Brilliant Shine Detailer, quick detailer, detail spray (http://www.autogeek.net/sonax-brilliant-shine-detailer.html)

This one behaves very well. But if you like slick surfaces, it is not for you.

Another vote for Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer... beads and sheets water like mad!

Another great option is CarPro ReLoad.

Both products bead/sheet like a coating... they just don't last as long.

My vote is for detailing sprays by Meguiar's:
After all...they're the Company that brought us the world’s first Spray Detailer.

Meguiar's, through the usage of their proprietary Hydrophobic Polymer Technology...
have formulated such mist-n-wipe products as their Ultimate Quik Detailer.

I have found that UQD acts like it's a Spray Detailer...yet enhances the LSP protection on vehicles. :dblthumb2:
Perhaps this two-pronged action is caused by the high level of surface tension created by these Hydrophobic Polymers.

Regardless...
The resulting UQD film-layer creates a slick, somewhat darkened surface;
a MF-towel seems to almost float across the panel-surfaces; and it grants an eye-popping effect.
All this plus: Incredible water beading...NAY...Sheeting!

Meguiar's has many other products with "QD-ing abilities"...
But some are not advertised as having UQD's Hydrophic Polymers Technology

Thus saith I.

Just got the UQD at my local auto store.
Looks very good. Even smells good too.

Been using UQD and UQW for a good while now. Together they do a great job of beading and ridding water.

UQW spray after each wash to boost my ULW. Crazy slickness.

Yup, 135, UQD, ULW, even DG951 (especially if it's been polycharged). :props:

I'm not sure if it counts, but CarPro Hydr02 is the neatest "spray" detailing product that I've used!
