Hey guys,

What are your thoughts on doing a "final polish" using a Rupes white or Lake Country CCS Black with M205 or HD polish?

Most of the cars that I work on have fairly soft paint. I usually do a 1-step polish using an Meg Yellow polishing or Uber green polishing pad and find the results to be very decent.

However, I've recently wondered if I could noticeably improve the gloss by doing a couple quick passes with the same finishing polish, but using a pad that has virtually no cut.

Also, I am using a Rupes 21 w/washer mod, if that changes anything.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

M205 should work great for a final polish with a finishing pad at lower speed like 3 or 4.

Megs Black Pad or the Beige 6.5" pad.

Or the Like LC finishing pads.

M205 is very versatile.

Go over each section like 3 to 4 times to really polish it out.
