Hi Geeks,
I just received the "Optimum Double-Sided Rotary Adapter" from Autogeek today, but i can't seem to attach this adapter on my PE14, it's a 230 volt version PE-14-2-150.
I want to use this adapter with the twisted wool pad and foam finishing that i purchased from here > "Optimum Hyper Polishing System Kit (http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-hyper-polish-system.html)"
Unfortunately it doesn't work...:awman:
Adapter on the right,

Can anyone please tell me what I've done wrong here?
Thank you.

Call AG service and send them an email link of this thread. So they can have a look at it, if they haven't already.
Good luck :xyxthumbs:

The European models use a metric thread pitch which is different than U.S. rotary buffers and the extension you're trying to install is for U.S. 5/8" thread.
I've seen extensions for for rotary buffers on U.K. sites, just don't remember where.

The thread pitch for your Flex PE14 = M14 threaded drive spindle.
So you need to get an extension for M14 or Metric 14 Thread pitch.

Went to all the local hardware and machinery stores, i showed them my PE14 and the double-sided adapter, they looked at me like i'm a weirdo. :dunno:
However i managed to find two of these available online.
Not sure if i'm allowed to post the link here, so i just posted the picture and brief description.
Is this what i need?

Is the 3rd party adapter/extension going to cause vibrations and affect the polishing experience/result?
About a week ago I was so happy and excited because i started to step into rotary buffer from DA, but now it seems like i have messed up my first step... :help:

Thanks for uploading these pictures to the AG Gallery too... :dblthumb2:
Now they won't disappear over time like so many Photobucket pictures.
This is one thread that would be useless into the future with a bunch of these...
