I just received a bottle of Pinnacle Souveran Liquid but i noticed it's the old formula (no "new formula" sticker on the cap). Anyone know the difference between new and old formulas. Or has anyone used both and notice a difference?

The new formula Liquid Souveran is thicker and contains more crystalline polymers. This results in easier application along with increased durability, gloss, and slickness.

V2 is way kick ass! Thicker, looks better, and lasts, lasts real well actually!

Does that mean the old formula has less polymers and more carnuaba wax?

Have you tried the two?

Nope - carnauba content remains the same.

I just realized you said you "just received" the bottle - was it from us? If so, please PM me your order number.

If you purchased a bottle from someone else, the formula still works great, it's just not as thick or durable as the new formula.

It's from a trade on this forum. Honestly i'm not too concerned about durability since i wash and wax often and still use carnuaba wax on my personal vehicle. If it holds the Pinnacle name, i'm sure i will be happy with it. Looking forward to try the trio now.

I am very impressed with the new formula. I put some on my outside 24/7 Sorento in July and it still beads.
