Up for a detail this past weekend was a brand new Mini Cooper Countryman. The condition of the paint was not bad at all a few light swirls and a few isolated scratches but nothing drastic.
Here was the plan of attack:
Exterior:
Wheels:
Wheels cleaned 1Z Colour Tec Wheel cleaner
Tires cleaned with Meguiar's Non Acidic Wheel and tire cleaner
Wheel wells cleaned with Meguiar's APC+
Paint:
Washed the exterior with CG Wash and Clear Red
All paint was decontaminated with Speedy Prep towel fine grade
Paint was polished with Meguiar's M205 with BnS polishing pad via the Rupes 21
Paint was then cleaned with CarPro Eraser
Opti-Coat was applied to all exterior surfaces excluding glass
Glass was coated with Gtechniq G1
