Hi Geeks, =)

I'm currently looking for a CTG, i know Autogeek recommends the Defelsko, it looks solid but i found a much affordable CTG, but i'm not sure if the cheaper one is able to provide an accurate measurement.

Defelsko Paint Thickness Gauge, Paint thickness meter, coating thickness gauge, auto paint meter, car paint meter (http://www.autogeek.net/paint-thickness-gauge.html)
VS
Digital Paint Coating Thickness Gauge Crash Car Tester | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/DIGITAL-PAINT-COATING-THICKNESS-GAUGE-CRASH-CAR-TESTER-/280895199171?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item4166a897c3&vxp=mtr)

Can anyone convince me to pick a Defelsko instead of the other cheaper CTG?

Feed back please

I bought one from Ebay that works fine. The only thing is, you have to calibrate it each time you use it. It's not the one you have listed though.

Highline II has a good reputation.

I own a Highline meter 2, and it's pretty accurate most of the time. Whenever I check to recalibrate it, the majority of the time the readings are only off 1-5 microns at most.
