OK, I've been working on some Ferrari's for a newer client recently, and last Thursday I did some work on his Escalade. This truck sits outside 24/7 and is used to haul children to the beach so I had some work to do! With winter coming up, I advised against any paint correction, but I did do a thorough cleanup of the interior and exterior and sealed the paint with Powerlock.

Process:

Wheels washed with CG Diablo 1:3, Wheel Woolies
Tires and arches cleaned with Megs APC+ 1:4
Foamed then washed 2BM with CG Citrus Wash
Decontaminate with Speedy Prep Towel
IPA wipedown
Menzerna Powerlock via machine
Interior vacuumed
Carpets spot shampooed with CG Fabric Clean
Leather cleaned with CG Nonsense 1:10
Leather cleaned/conditioned with Griots Leather Care (customer requested and supplied)
Interior plastic dressed with PB Natural Look.
Tires dressed with PB Bold N'Bright
Trim dressed with PB Natural Look
Wheel arches dressed with CG Bare Bones

Started with the wheels. There is some pitting and the chrome is starting to chip inside the barrels:

And all cleaned up:

Car was then foamed, rinsed, foamed again and washed with 2BM:

Once washed and decontaminated it was "stretched" for proper drying:

The rubber mats were taken out and scrubbed with APC and a stiff bristle brush with car wash soap:

Once the car was decontaminated I found some swirl marks and holograms. Pointed them out to the owner for future reference

The interior had a lot of spot stains and food crumbs from 3 children.

I brought my carpet extractor but it seems I left the cap for the water reservoir at home so it was useless to me on this detail. I ended up soaking the spots with the Fabric Clean, scrubbing them real good, then spraying them liberally with water and used my shop vac to suck up all the moisture. It had basically the same effect, just not with hot water.

Here's a shot of the hatch area all cleaned up:

And now some beauty shots. It seems I forgot to get some of the completed interior, but it came out very nice, the owner was pleased with the look and the smell :-p

That is a 2003 456, dropped off by the shipping company while I was working on the Escalade. I got to drive it before the new owner did Im the MAN
