Any good ways to clean wood on cars like Lexus and other cars that have a clear coat or what ever it is?

When i come across clear coated wood i use a interior cleaner to clean the surface and put a sealent or wax on the surface but if you want to go the extra mile then clay the surface the use a combo like m105 and 205 to remove all defects then put a sealent or opti coat ...good luck

Since this, I have used my 7424 with a 4" Orange CCS with M105 and the results were just as good and faster.

The pictures in the link for post #4 are from a GMC Yukon.

It took less than 15 minutes of polishing with a PC. If you can avoid polishing by hand, it will save hours.

The cup holder piece in most vehicles will pop out. Mine was held in with the same type of clips that are on door panels.

I removed the lid to the center console and polished it outside the vehicle.

Mike Phillips in another thread suggests using plastic film or a drop cloth to prevent getting polish spray all over the inside of the car. I highly suggest following his guidance.

IMO...
This "polish" is real good for vehicles' interior wood/protected-by CC-wood.

Obnoxious, unprofessional Presenter.

Why in the heck didn't he tape off that door panel?

Dirt wasn't on the wood trim, it was on the adjacent panel material.

No way 30 seconds of polishing by hand did squat.

On the dash, we should have used a lot more tape & drape off the dash

"For some reason the painters tape won't stick to the dash". No really? It's the dressing. Clean the dash with APC and the tape will stick.

If you plan on sealing or waxing the wood...do it after buffing off the polish, but before removing the tape.

I personally like putting down v7 over the fake wood, cleans and protects the wood easily
