I have noticed on the forum that many recommend Meguiars M150 polish and that it is good to have as part of your detailing arsenal so I bought some along with the M250. I have heard good things about the results that many are getting with the M150.

I tried using it today on a black 2011 Camaro that had plenty of swirls & scratches. I used it with a Flex 3401 polisher and 6.5 inch orange LC CCS pad. I didn't get good results. The product dried rather quickly, was dusting and was difficult to remove after about 5 to 6 section passes at a speed of 5 or 6 on the Flex. The pad was primed initially with a couple squirts of Wolfgang's Pad Werks Polishing Pad Conditioner and instead of removing the swirls I think I added more from the buffing process. I prefer to stick with the LC CCS Pads since these are what I mostly have.

I must be doing something wrong since I have heard good reports about the M150.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

M105 and M205. Ok this is what you need to do. Don't run the product until it's completely dry or you will have this caking situation. Also, if you have a caking problem simply apply fresh product to the pad give it a few passes and it will come off. There is a slight learning curve when first using this product. Practice will get you there. Also, the dusting problem probably means you ran the product too long. Turn down your speed and work the product a little slower it cuts super fast you don't need to go to town with it. I hope this helps. Just remember don't work too big of a section at a time, use about 3 drops of product and when you see the product starting to get thin, stop, wipe and inspect.

Yes I know, I put M150 & M250 on my first post instead of M105 & M205. I tried to delete the first post but wasn't able to.
