Hello

I was using some 3M adhesive remover to remove some old glue off a window and I accidentally oversprayed onto some plastic. I wiped off as much as I could right away but the spray turned the plastic whiteish. It's a small and inconspicuous spot but of course it bothers me..
Is there any hope in fixing it or in some way covering it?

I didn't have any trim paint laying around so I tried some plasti dip. At the worst I could just peel it off...temporary fix but it is better than nothing. Just waiting on it to dry.
If anyone has any other suggestions I would really appreciate it

Thanks

I had the same thing happen on a plastic A pillar. A light polishing removed the white area as good as new.

I can't really reach the spot with a polisher but would applying something like scratch x by hand work?
