This one started out as a help on showing how the pc worked.
I also showed him the new UDM, he liked it. So I gave it a quick ONR wipe down. This was not a detail. More kind of a show and tell detail. So I started on the hood, using Menzerna SIP/FG combo. With the UDM and a edge2K green pad. Showed him how easy it was, then had him do the other side. Then he took his new pc and a org pad, and went to town. Once it was all done, I asked him If I could try a something new on his vette. He thought about it, and I said trust me you will like it. So out came the new XMT 180 wax.
At first glance, it looks like dried XMT carnauba glaze in a tub. It smells just like it also. But it is not, it is a whole new world of wax.
I used a new yellow foam app. to apply the 180. It goes on very easy, and wiping it off was a dream. No dust at all, that was great. I even made the owner wipe it off, to show how easy it was. I put it on the whole car before it was removed. I guess it was on there for about 10 min. before it was wiped off. Used a cobra deluxe jr. to remove it.
The paint looked darker, and major depth. It also felt smooth to the touch.
Wheels and tires were not touched in this session. Just the exterior of the vette.
