What do you guys like in way of hoses?

Do these have enough flow?

I've been through a lot of hoses over the years, have recently settled on Craftsman rubber hoses and don't think I'll be using anything else.

Not sure what your intended use is (possibly mobile I'm thinking), but I'm not a fan of coiled hoses: used them with my air compressor and they're a pain with the tangling and when you lay them on the ground they retract.

:iagree:

I was about to suggest the same hose. I have the craftsman rubber hoses and they are good quality hoses. Never had a problem with kinking either. I think the 50ft hose was around $35 ish

I have a 100' vinyl and its hell getting it out and rolling it back up...

Looks like a 50-75 foot rubber kink free hose would be nice for me...

I'll take a look at Home Depot's, Lowes, and of course your Sears...

You will probably have the best luck as Sears. That is where I bought mine. They carry everything Craftsmans.

I use a flexzilla hose . I don't do a whole lot of traditional washes though . I just coil it up and hang it - no type of wind up apparatus . it's light, flexible , memory free, kink free . it's prob not as durable as a good rubber hose though, but serves me well .

Long rubber hoses generally weight a ton. How the weight on yours?

I hate the type of hose originally posted by the OP. They tangle up and have no flow. I've used every hose known to man. I liked the concept of the expandable hoses so I bought one of the cheap ones at walmart. . .Broke it in a week but liked how it worked.

I found an industrial expandable hose called the X hose Pro by Dap. It is extremely durable and has very solid brass fittings. It WILL NOT kink and weighs almost nothing.

I have two 25ft hoses in my shop and love them. They also sell them in longer lengths.

Recently my Sears Black Rubber hose lost it's "finish" after 13 years of use so that anytime you picked it up your hands got black. Took it back to Sears and they replaced it without hesitation. They are great hoses--never kink, stay flexible in cold weather, not as heavy as most rubber hoses and you can't beat the lifetime warranty.

I use a Goodyear rubber hose. It sounds similar to the Craftsman hose that others are talking about here. 50' black rubber hose for ~$30. Love mine and have had no issues with it at all in 2+ years.
