Below are the products I have for my project tomorrow. I forgot to take a picture of another mild foam pad I have. Also have meguairs clay bar, and soap. Also have microfiber cloths and wool mitt. Also using pressure washer.

The buffer I use is my Hitachi

It is to dark to take a current picture, but here is my truck from 2 months ago.

Only difference is the local car wash caused a scratch I have to buff out gently. (Yes I know shouldn't use them)

I want to get out scratch, make paint look shiny and new, make it last for a couple weeks. Yes I know how to use the polisher.

But just wanted some opinions on if I am missing any key products, or what I have should do what I want. I had to pick everything up locally because I want to take care of the scratch, and only had a today to get everything.

Thank you. Will post pictures as I go. Also going to do the wifes red 2013 focus.

Jealous of the truck. If you don't have experience with a rotary dont use it you will instill more damage than what's already there.

Nice truck

Watch your speed, keep pad cool, let the machine do the work (don't press to hard), work a little at a time and most important, don't sneeze.

Thank you.

For $53k, the last thing I'd touch that paint with is a rotary buffer unless its in the hands of a pro. The car wash doing harm may be the least of your problems. I'm assuming you have done a lot of vehicles with that rotary at this point.

Good luck.

You can actually get raptors in low 40's new if you get equipped properly and stick to the short back seat.

How did you fit that thing in the car wash? I watched a YouTube video awhile back about ten reasons not to own a Raptor, and one of them was that it doesn't fit in a car wash..

I dont think he is asking us if he should use the rotory. Its his whip, if he wants to take sand paper and a bag of rocks to it then that is his right. Just take some pics because i really want to see this disaster. :buffing::poke:

Why is everying complaining about the polisher?
He said he knows how to use it. If hes got the guts to use a rotary on a raptor, i am sure he can afford a paint job in the worst case scenario.

Raptors are nice luxury truck, but super pricey.... and the engine is just wayyyyyyy too big for its intended purpose....
