Hi Mike. I have a 2012 Audi SUV as my daily driver. I was looking at applying a sealant that would be durable for our winters up north in Canada.

I was thinking of using the Collinite 845 or new Sonax Netshield. Do you have any preferences between the two? do you recommend something better?

Thanks for your help.

Rob.

Not sure if it's better than the two you mention, but Klasse SG is really durable two. I get six months out of a coat in the winter.

There's no doubt that the coatings are the best for winter protection. But if you're not ready to make the move to a coating just yet, get yourself a tin of Collinite 476 and do two coats after a good clean & clay. Pittsburgh may not be the Great White North, but we know about winter.
476 x2 has served me well for the family DD's, all of which spend the entire winter outside 24/7.

Collinite 845 and/or 476 if you're not comfortable with a coating

Menzerna's power lock is easy to apply and I guarantee a 1 year longevity to my customers if they allow me and only me to clean there cars during that period. Oh yea and it is very easy to remove you just have to let it cure for 12 hours with no water & dew contact and low humidity, After removal of the haze, which is 30 minutes after application.

Coat it but make sure the paint is swirl free.

Cquartz+reload is a great combo.
