Hi Guys....

Its beautiful here in NYC...and I'm beginning to prep my car for winter

I cant do the whole process in one day...
I'd like to know if I can..
Polish my car with Meg 105 and do a few panels per day
After that's done , use 205 to clean things up..might take a few days too

After that , will a regular 2 bucket wash take off residue from all the polishing and then apply Optimum Spray Seal

How long do you expect the whole process to take?
If within a week or so, I would wash, clay, M105 and spray wax by panel.
On the final day, I would do wash, M205 and seal the whole car

I deal with the same time constraints. I don't like to make noise on Sunday's and I'm slow (a wash takes me 2 hrs.)

First of all, I'm waiting for Spring for that type of detail. Next month it's just just a wash, clay(mitt), DG501/Colli 845 and that's it.

My plan for Spring is to spread ot out over 3 weekends.

Wash-clay-polish-glaze-seal the front clip one sat.
Roof, decklid, rear bumper the following w/e, then the sides of the car the next. Wheels I'll do by hand any Sunday.

I only need a max of two pads while polishing and all pads are clean and dry and ready to go for the next section(w/e).

It will take a week or 2 at most...

I have D156, so after I do 105 ..I'll hit it with that

Sounds good to me too..

But I'd prefer the Fall...
Too much rain in spring and mucho salt on roads from winter...
In the fall you get temps going downward making for some good weekends..

I've notice too , that products are working better and looing good to me when the temps came down an humidity went away..

I must be imagining it

Spring, Fall, doesn't matter. I just like to complete the whole wash thru seal process in its entirety rather than drive the car around in an in between stage perhaps undoing some work I've already done.

I think D156 should hold for 2 weeks.
Have fun! :xyxthumbs:
