Looks great!

Nice after pics too!... I've been to Springfield A LOT (wife did her undergrad at Missouri State and I was just a little ways away in Rolla, MO at the time) and it never looked as nice as it does in those pics (so warm and inviting with the bright sunset) haha must be the car ;)

Nice work. The black paint looks great.

But that isn't an M5. Maybe a 535i or 550i with the Msport package but its not the real deal.

Real M5's don't have fog lights, those wheels are not from any M5, the exhaust is much closer together than at the sides of the car like this one, the rear diffuser is different. I could go on and on.

Factory M5 maybe but this is a Dinan (aftermarket) modded M5. Although technically you are correct if you are strictly talking about factory M5s but BMW recognizes the Dinan M5 and allow the badging and even retains the factory warranty and all.

.... unless I am mistaken :dunno:, afterall you are the BMW expert :xyxthumbs:

Dinan doesn't do body kits.....

Dinan doesn't do body kits.....

I see where you are going with that. They did not take a factory M5 for tuning and upgrade which disqualifies the badging... Consider me schooled! :dblthumb2:

It's an M5, with newer wheels (2013 M6 I think) and the Dinan package. I drove it. It's not a 535. Had a biturbo v8. I checked, and drove it.

Why would this guy fake an m5? He's a millionaire.

Nice! Are you using a GG DA? If so how are the MF pads on the GG and what backing plate are you using?

You lucky dog!! I understand what Mike is saying about the fog lights and diffuser but..... If you say it is a genuine M5 then that is all I need to continue my drool fest. Im the MAN

I like the mf pads on the griots and the pc. I run the 3" pads on the pc and 5 or 6" pads on the Griots, because it is definitely more powerful than a pc. Happy with both. I will be switching to the Rupes next year, only to relieve myself from a little vibration.

I am more than happy with the correction ability of mf pads on the Griots. I honestly believe that this system rivals the correction ability of a rotary and wool pad, all while not working backwards and leaving holograms.

Since switching to the mf system, I can do a 2 step correction (equal to a three step with rotary followed by foam pad on a da) and get excellent results in around 8 hours on a small car. That was not possible before. I only keep my rotary for boats.
If I run into severe defects I just buzz the paint with a 3000 grit disc before using the mf pads. It's still faster than using a rotary.

I could always be wrong. I'm no bmw expert. It just wouldn't make any sense for this guy to go through all the trouble and money to fake it.

The guy that owns it is also no idiot. He really knows his stuff about cars. He's one of my top clients. Also owns a 97 Viper Red and Gold, F650, merc sl55 AMG Brabus, z06 corvette, and there's more.

Why would he want a fake m5?
