It is time to find out how well the new IXLS works. It took me an extra day but I needed to find the perfect white vehicle. The test car was a 1999 Ford Escort. The car had not been washed for over a year.

Prep: Car foamed with CG Bug Wash then 2 bucket washed with CGCW. The car was dried with a drying MF to make sure IX did not get diluted.

Tape Line placed on driver door. IX on the left and IXLS on the right. The same number of sprays was used on each section. Sprayers were exactly the same. Pictures were taken every minute for five minutes.

Since I was using both IX's I was smelling Cherry Lemon. The Cherry scent never bothered me and the Lemon scent does not. Someone else will have to comment that has a strong dislike for the IX smells.

Both products worked great. The new IXLS did seem to cling better than IX.

Thanks for viewing!

Sweet! My bottle of the "old" cherry IX just ran out. Looking forward to trying the new lemon version. I wonder if it will smell better than TRIX which seems to be a lemon scent?

Wow, car looked clean but definitely contaminated! Just goes to show what is hiding deep in your paint.

Thank You. IX & IXLS are great products. If you don't have an iron remover I would recommend purchasing either product.

The Cherry does have a strong odor. I always work outdoors with iron removers and don't mind the smell. Hope you enjoy the new IXLS if you try it out.

Yeah, I agree Kevin.

Yes, the IXLS did cling better I thought.

It is a very good product if you can get past the smell that bothers most.
