Feeding Leather

Does anyone know anything about Feeding leather?
I can't seem to find anything about it, and searching through the forums, it seems that there is a consensus that Leatherique is the best. Should I just go with that because what I am trying to do is bring the softness back into the leather, and also make it look a little better. It's 11 year old leather, so it could use some help. Thanks in advance!!:D

I have been applying Connolly's (purchased from Autogeek!) to my leather seats, but they are not in need of serious restoring. If they were I'd probably give Leatherique a go.

Leatherique is a great leather restorer, but get ready for the directions, as it will teach you to 'feed' the leather alrightly. You actually apply it via hand allow to sit for some time before removal. Great for neglected leather ....

I too prefer Connolly's Leather Cleaner for normal use. I use it on my Cadillacs uncoated leather with awesome results. It seems to work well on the new Vette, but the past C5 had coated leather and not much ever seemed to soften it. I likened it to "pleather" or plastic-leather.

I just tested my leather to see if it was coated and it is. Does that rule out any options to soften it up? Including the Leatherique kit? If so, crap.:mad:

Just dont expect miracles. It will help, but your plastic-leather (coated) will never be a supple as geniune uncoated leather.
