Ive never encountered this decal. All decals like this I have addressed still had a clear area where the graphic wasn't. Like it was one large flat decal.

Yup. I think you're well within your rights to charge extra for the labor of hand polishing those areas too.

Looking forward to seeing how this 35th anniversary camaro comes out. Just as an FYI my camaro and my dads camaro have hard clear coat. Both are 02's just like the one you are working on.
