I am new here - and to detailing! :dunno: My blizzard pearl 2009 RAV4 is overdue for a wax/detail. It hasn't had one since I brought it home new from the dealership. It is garage-kept and not driven much, but still needs it.
My husband gave me a detail for my birthday and I was going to find a place to take it, but after he talked to his friend and got some Zaino products from him, I don't know if I want to trust it to a detail place! The products were the ones he used on his Camaro.
I thought I'd clay it, polish it, wax it ....or may be seal it then wax it??? I want to really bring out the depth and sparkle in the blizzard pearl (it is so awesome!).
Can you all give me any pointers on products? I'll be doing it all by HAND - we have never used machines before, I don't want to screw it up! -- FYI I live in Texas, so it is HOT here and we don't have much of a winter - I figure that probably makes a difference?
