when i polish my car (white), i have to do it in the sun in order to see anything, but that is also killing my eyes. in science last year we used a cobalt filter too see colors in fire, i got rid of all the extra glare and flames, and just gave us the color. now besides sunglasses (polarized?), is there any way to maybe cut down on the glare and see the swirls? the lights in the garage are not bright enough, and the sun is too bright.
am i on to something or is this completely stupid?
PS - i'll upload some pictures so you know what i mean.
