This is one mean combination my friends. Did a older Lexus interior today with filthy dash, door panels, trims, plastics, etc. Spray it on, let it site a few minutes, steam it, wipe it away, and dead spot clean. Ph levels on this product are probably way out of line for use on leathers, so I soaked leathers in Leatherique and steamed them, perfect. :props:

Actually it works great on coated leather. Combined with a DA brush attachment, it's awesome.

I will do a test spot tomorrow on my own car's leather. I am a devote follower of Leatherique after assorted issues, spotting, streaking, etc. with other products. I have heard good things about Sonax Leather Foam though. Truthfully I despise interior detailing but it's part of the game. I might as well make the best of it.

You are absolutely correct. If not fully removed, over the long run it will cause damage. And if the leather coating is already cracked, worse still.

I tried it on my neighbors hopeless Cadillac with equally hopeless leather seats. He laughed at the thought of anything cleaning that leather. He wasn't laughing for long and neither was I. It took two soakings and steam but that leather was no-joke clean. Follow up with hand rubbing of Leatherique and it looked and felt great. A small bit of leather coating DID come off in this process. On leather that's better off dead anyway I'm sure this is acceptable. I will be using this product for this application, but only when the ends justify the means.

Special thanks to Pureshine for introducing me to this product combined with this process. As I've said before, I despise working on crap interiors, and this just made it less painful.

I agree! Great combo. Also great in conjunction with a magic eraser on scuff marks.
In regards to sonax leather foam... Nice product with a great scent, however it is definitely only for well maintained leather. It lacks some deep cleaning power. I still like it for maintenance.
