Do you think Never Wet will work on my 05 bmw 645 convertible top??

It dries to a white haze, and gets degraded with any abrasion - so might not be the best on a convertible top, unless you don't mind a chalky white color and texture :)

I'd stick with the tried and true ones - Raggtop and 303. I've only used Raggtop and the Porsche protectant (which is by far the best - water is scared of the top). Raggtop is great, and you don't have to worry about overspray on glass and paint.

Just applied 303 High Tech Fabric Guard on my son's convertible's top and water beads up. Time will tell as to how long it lasts.
No!!! It does not last and causes color change.

From what I've read it does not allow fabric to breath which will degrade it. I would stick with 303 fabric guard

It should last a long time. I re-apply every so often, but it never seems to wear off. Here is a video I made of 303 several months after application:

I did a thread about DG 341. It out performed CQ F & L. It's actually meant for convertible tops.
