Besides removing polish and oils, how would it work "cleaning" coated paint? Such as water spots, light bonded contaminants, etc.

That is a very good question.


My guess is as long as you're wiping gently with a clean, soft foam applicator pad, it would clean anything off the surface of the coating that wasn't bonded.

I had coated my wife's car with opticoat and all the horizontal surfaces have bad water spots. I've tried washing and wiping down with onr with mild improvement. Aside from polishing with a light polish, I was looking for a less aggressive route. I was thinking about trying a black hybrid and the DP paint cleaner but didn't know if I was wasting my time.

What you think mike?

i find Duragloss water spot remover works very well
