Hello everyone! From looking around here this forum looks absolutely amazing. There is a TON of knowledge here that I cannot wait to soak up.
I guess a little about me is in order. My name is Rob and I am from Southeastern Pennsylvania. I'm 35 years old and have been detailing my cars and my families cars for about 15 years, all by hand. My search for products and a machine to help me landed me here and I just ordered a Porter Cable DA buffer and pads. My shoulders cannot take many more 9 hour detail sessions so the time has come to step up to a machine which will make my job easier and the results better.
In the near future I plan on doing car detailing on the side at my house in my garage. It seems like a good way to make some extra money. In today's world most people are too busy to wash their cars, let alone detail them. Almost every weekend for me is free during the day so I might as well do something productive.
Anyway, I will try my best to search the forum and research before posting a bunch of questions. I am sure I will learn a lot from here.
Here are a few pictures of my car. It's a 2002 WRX that I have had for 12 years this October. These pictures were after I washed, clayed, compounded, polished, and waxed it. It looks pretty good for 12 years old and white. At least I think it does.

Have a great night!
