Iron x questions

I have the regular iron x which does a good job, however I have some questions. If I wanted to make my product go further can I dilute the spray? Should I buy the 500g paste if I am doing multiple cars?

don't dilute the spray but you can dilute the paste. someone posted about this a couple days ago. search "ironx plastidip" to see the thread. I believe he diluted 1:4 with the paste and still had great reaction with the iron particles on the wheel.

Ill get the 20 dollar paste then. Rather spend less for doing multiple cars ie. Friends and customers

diluting as I mention would of course be for spraying. the paste alone is already economical in that you can use a little on the paint and wipe it around vs. spraying the car down.

good point. I used Iron x spray on my personal vehicle and it worked well, just expensive. Might try the paste as i get more for the 20 bucks

What I do is while wearing a rubber glove I will put some x on a couple fingertips and spread all over the wheel, let dwell and hit it with a little brush and rinse. I have not tried x on a panel yet, but will use a applicator.

Buy it by the gallon. Sure it is a little expensive, but it's worth it to me in the amount of time I save with claying.

In some instances Iron X will remove the majority of contaminates so you may not feel the need to clay afterwards.

In almost every instance (at least in my case) Iron X has made the surface contamination go from poor to decent, so a quick claying was all that was needed instead of an extensive claying.
