Trim needs help.

What would you recommend for trim this faded? I have already used FB trim dye kit, and DG271 and no luck. heck, I even use baby oil and actually looks good until it rains and also attracts dirt.

I've never used it but this looks good to me - Black Again.

Piece of cake. The mirror can be done with carlack 68 plastic care (a polish for trims) or you can machine polish it all with 4 to 6 inch pads with the rotary or PC and it will come up like your paint.
Any paint polish will work but I bet menzerna Intensive and 106FF will do the best job.
I do them all the time, even unpainted ones are no probs.

The windscreen stuff can't be polished by machine but it can by hand
if that doesn't work, get renu it. Leaves a wet glossy finish on all types of trim, can handle high pressure washing and won't go away.

Cover your windscreen in newspaper before using renu it.
It's pretty cheap at the moment. 19 bucks for 946ml

Why bother with black again, any type of mirror backing and wiper arms can be machine and hand polished now with permanent results.

Where do I get carlack 68 plastic care and Renu It? And I'll have to do it by hand since I don't have a machine:mad: yet. I'll probably remove the cowl vent so I can work with it better. Thanks alot . I hope this products last long, and won't come off in rain.

You know Jeff Werkstatt's range. His satin protect product is carlack 68
It blows away any other trim cleaner as it actually polishes them and protects for months

use that on the windscreen cowl and finish with renu it but use polish on that mirror and then seal it with any sealant.

Try some Klasse AOI on the mirror and the shroud for the wipes, I've actually took mine off repainted it and spray some clearcote on it, it stays nice and shiny all the time and you can't really tell that I did it.

Sparkie did a review of a bunch of trim products. Here's what I remember of the results:
#1 Black Again 4.5 / 5
#2 PB Trim Restorer 4 / 5
When PB TR is used on dried trim it takes multiple coats but will usually hold after two or three coats.
