Hey there! I live in Northern California, and just bought a new Lexus hybrid. I love the car, and especially the color. After selling my 1991 Volvo 740 wagon, which I raised my family in, I've decided I want to keep my new car looking as sharp as possible. Some of you will relate to that, I'm sure. That's what led me here.
I can't believe the amount of good information here about caring for a car, inside and out. I've already placed three orders to Autogeek.com for products and tools.
I washed my new car for the first time yesterday using ONR, MF towels and DP Waterless Wash as a detailing solution. It came out great, but I have a way to go on my technique (took me 2.5 hours, lol). But I put a lot of thought into it. I plan to prepare it for a good new car prep soon.
I look forward to hearing from you all and hope you'll be able to help me from time to time as I learn the ins and outs of detailing.
