I figured it was time for an update. The 5ver was Duraglossed 5/28/12 and it has been out and about after 2 coats of 601/105. It has had a few 901 washings with Aqua Wax used during the drying process, a few 932 washings, some wipe downs with 932 QD. The 5ver has also spent some of the time under a cover. It sure has been nice not having the oxidation every 3 months and having to buff out 32' of fiberglass. Here are pictures 15 months later.

DG produces the best bang for your buck line of products available anywhere.

They sure do. When I started this DG thing I was looking for something that lasted 6 to 9 months as it was killing me polishing and waxing/sealing 900+ square feet of fiberglass every 3 months. I tried quite a few products and did not see some of the claimed results. All is well now, never expected 15 months. DG's 105 alone states up to 1 year of protection but mixed with 601 and using their 652 seems to have greatly extended that along with the Aqua Wax applications. This fall/winter I will re-apply 2 more coats as the existing will be about 18 months by then.

DG 105 is on my car. I'm not sure exactly of the durability but I know for sure it lasts at least 6 months. I usually polish my car twice a year so it gets polished off before its end of life.

It looks great too. I haven't used wax on my car in years.

No Carnuba here also. One car has 601/105 for the last 8 months, one with 601/501 for the last 4 months. The exception is my truck with Z2 Pro/ZFX for the last 13 months with doses of Z6,Z8, 521,921,DG 932 as a rinseless and a QD and of course Aqua Wax. The RV started all of this as I was looking for something I could afford and last a long time. As the saying goes "If you find something you like, stick with it". I think it cost me about $20.00-$30.00 in product to do that RV.

How long was it covered during that time vs uncovered? 50/50? Looks great Dave! Got a new trailer that has heavy oxidation, will be buffing it in the fall and copy you in the protection department. For it to see look that good after TWO summers here in AZ is something! Trailer almost looks like new!

Yes, the time frame is somewhere in there. The interesting part is I installed a new plastic vent dome at the bathroom vent about the same time. No protection of any sort on the plastic (other than what the manufacturer has in it, if any) so it was in the weather and covered all the same as the 5ver. The vent dome is completely destroyed from sun.heat.uv etc. but the fiberglass keeps going. I am totally amazed at this point with how well the DG products have held up. Maybe it is because I did not mix any products and used DG exclusively, I don't know but it works.

That RV looks great. Try hitting enter after each picture so they don't extend so wide when people are viewing them so you don't have to scroll to the right to read the comments.

One thing that should not be missed here is that maintaining a large RV is not like maintaining the paint on a much smaller car...point being that whatever you put on....better perform for a long long time.

Agreed, old trailer was a 32ft bumper pull, and new trailer is a 38ft 5th wheel. It's a job. Also take care of my grandpas trailer. Will be using DG of sure!

One more thing, how long between coats of 105/601?

No waiting for second coat. When hazed buff off and apply another coat. After 2 coats I would wait 12 hours if doing a third.
