Gesh! Anything else you want to tackle?
I'm glad I have the knowledge and tools to fix just about any problem thrown at me.

This customer is one of my first. She listens to me and tries to take care of her car herself and she does a great job. But when it get to much for her she knows how to call....
Super Mario!
Originally this was only a Water Spot Removal the she sprung the Ink on me and then the melted sucker!
No problem to me I'm a Video Game Character. Where's my magic mushrooms?

Washed, Speedy Prep Towel
Rupes 21- 5" MF Cutting Pad
G100- 3" MF Cutting Pad
Dyna Cone (but I didn't take any picks while doing the grill)
New Meguiar's Water Spot Remover
M20 Sealant

This is more then your average "Water Spotting", this is "Puddling". The water is puddling and leaving a big "water spot". She parks on a sloped driveway thus making here hood level with the ground so the water can't run off so the water puddles.
Another thing about these spots is that I could feel them. They were bumps, kinda freaky. I hate bumps, it felt like it had a rash! Gives me the creeps as I write this too.
Anyone else "felt" water "bumps"?

Headlights were difficult to work with, but I got this crud off.

Ink? Sure I can take care of that.

Back to the paint defect removal

My customer rocks! She wanted to do this herself being a starving student. I told her if she ever wanted to get stuff for her car to buy only Meguiar's stuff. Another thing I love about Meg's is that I can tell my customer to go get stuff for themselves at the Auto Parts Store.
So she bought Meg's new WSR. Something I've been wanting to try so Wa-la!

Tools for the job.

After about 8-10 passes with some pressure almost fixed it perfectly
http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll43/MaseratiMario/Hyundia%20Elantra%20Francheska/IMG_20130822_103159_390_zpsee8dedb4.jpg

I needed my 3" to really get at the edges of the lights and the paint to remove every last spot
http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll43/MaseratiMario/Hyundia%20Elantra%20Francheska/IMG_20130822_124438_317_zps30648efb.jpg

Using a big pad, 5" or 6", won't get enough pressure in the cracks to remove the embedded WS

A pad couldn't get into the cracks of the grill enough to remove the WS so I use my Dyna Cone to remove most then I took the 3" MF pad and got the real tight areas.

The spots on the side weren't as impressive as the hood so I didn't take before pics.
They were your topical WS.

Good Results!!

Thats a crazy looking backing plate. What brand is that?

What guard is that on the outside of the weighted section of the DA?

Glad you noticed!
The BP is a Meg's 3" rotary BP with and adaptor for the DA.

The PC Guard is made by Richard Linn of Show Car Detailing in Anaheim Hills Ca.
Here's the only link I found that shows his info.
Call him he'll send one out!

To ad to this post.
I got a call to remove ants out of an Escalde at the end of the day! I should have taken that job. It would have added some more shock to the post. lol

Nice work. How did you get the ink stains out?
Also how do you like the dynacone? I've been considering buying one for my polished wheels. Hand polishing is getting old!

It's an Ink Removal Pen. The label is gone, I got it years ago and I don't know what it's called.
love the Dyna Cone! Go get one now!

Because MF pads rock! lol. foam mares to much and MF's cut really well and leave a great finish.

Cool, you'll love it. Very strong, not like the crappy little DA one.
