Megs Ultimate Polish w/ ?

I went to Wally World the other day and picked up a bottle of Ultimate polish.

What Lake Country pad COLOR should this stiff be used with?

Also at what speed?

I have a GG6.

I would use either a White or Yellow LC Polishing pad on speed setting 4-5.

May depend upon what you're trying to accomplish, in a given time period though.
Please see "Total Cut" variables, some of which are listed below

Speaking of cut...

-Meguiar's Consumer-products do not have the "cut number" labeling on their containers.
-Ultimate Polish is said to be the Consumer version of M205
-M205's "cut number" is "4"
-UP's cut number, then, should also be "4"

"Total Cut" variables can include, but not limited to:
-Product
-Pad
-Pressure
-Passes
-Speed(s)---Machine; Arm


Below is a LC pad comparison/guideline chart for pad selection...
The other total cut variables, however, is between the UP and your 'processes'-implementation.

UP is slightly less aggressive than 205.

I have been pleased using black or white LC Flat Pads in addition to Tangerine and Crimson LC Hydrotechs in conjunction with Meg's UP.

Oh it's for sure less aggressive than 205.

I don't agree at all though about yellow and white pads. That is a rather broad statement, not to mention skipping orange. If I had to pick two, I'd say orange and white.

OTOH, All this is totally dependent on the paint you're working on. Hard, soft or in between?
Doesn't make sense to just through the highest cut foam pad LC makes on there and have a go at it. :nomore: Remember the "test spot"? ;)

the white pad would be a good choice so it can help clean up the paint...

I often use the orange pad when I use a polish, seems to do fine.
Now when it comes to applying wax, sealants or a glaze I use the white, less aggressive.
I also own the GG6 and just started working on speed 4, I find it works best, it has the power to do so.
