In the land of sand, sun and salt. It's great if you're looking for bikini babes, but hard on paint and chrome. I'm just trying to keeping my 2000 F150 looking good. My son asked to borrow my truck and in exchange, he volunteered to wash it. That was fine until I looked out the window and saw him using a beach towel to dry it. I freaked out and he didn't understand why. I explained that a beach towel has sand that scratches paint and showed him the fine swirls in the sunlight. I showed him why I use a chamois towel and how to use it. I'm using Meguires on the paint. ArmorAll on the interior and engine compartment and Fast Wax cleaner/wax on the clear coated aluminum wheels. Just joined and reading through the forums and threads to see how much I'm doing wrong or harder than what I need to be doing. Lol!
