Hi there,
I am using a 2 bucket system with a Boar Brush with Megs Gold Car Wash.

I live in a very dusty area.
I sometimes wash the the cars 2 times a week do to the dust.

I am noticing that the car is not as glossy as when i used Groits Car Wash.
I switched to Megs becouse of the price.
it seems that there is still some residue on the car after washing?
Any suggestions?? I am thinking i need to wash out my Boar Brush with soap and water.
Any suggestions for Car Wash Soap. I wax my cars every 2 months.
Thank you for your help.

Wash residue?

Are you using too much solution in your water? Should be 1 oz per gallon.

I use the Gold Class Car Shampoo with a microfiber wash mit and have never had any problems getting a car clean; even after hitting a very dirty post-snow storm salt/dirt encrusted car.

Could it be your washing technique? The only reason I say that is for normal dust and dirt, I've found just about any car wash will get a car clean. Some leave the surface a little more slick, and others may do a bit better on stuff like bugs, but they usually will always get the car clean.

perhaps its just time for a good clay job and a polish.

Same here. Been using GC for at least 5 years now and have never had issues. Like I mentioned, if your not using the proper dilution you wont see its full potential. I fill my bucket first with water THEN pour in the soap, then mix by hand.

Thanks guys, I was putting the solution in first then the water.
I will reverse the order and see if that helps.
Have a good day!
