I have a few empty bottles from detailing products that I'd like to reuse by putting other products in them. My question is, what is the easiest way to remove the label from the bottles? Thank you.

Goof off or something like it.

This is my area of expertise. To remove the actual label, best way is to fill the bottle with warm water. Then microwave the bottle until the water is very hot, but not so hot it melts the bottle.

That softens the label glue and most labels peel off whole. The residue is easily removed with Goo Gone.

I have used the microwave method detailed above with great results.

I like 16oz spray bottles, so I frequently transfer the label off of the original.

Wow, that's awesome!!

I also like to use secondary bottles, but the OCD in me is bothered by the fact that, other than Meguiar's, nobody offers secondary labels.

About how Ming does it take in the microwave??

Cool, how do you get label to adhere to the second bottle?

I use wine label savers if I want to save labels for other bottles. I use this for our wine collection too!

If you heat it use just right the glue softens, but will still stick.

I heat the bottles for 1 1/2 minutes.

Usually, the label comes off with the adhesive intact, so I can just stick it directly to the new bottle.

Tried Label Savers and they do work for well for Chemical Guys paper labels, but they are expensive.
