Hi all,

I'm really enjoying this site and forum, learning about how to keep my new (to me) '01 Tahoe looking sharp. It's come a long way with the advice I found here.

I spent my day detailing my Tahoe, and it's really looking good but I still need to do the black trim on the rear bumper, running boards and mudflaps, and detail/clean the wheel wells.

Best ways to do this? :)

303 Aerospace Protectant works wonders for me. I use it and it maintains a great shine on trim pieces wihthout leaving that 'dull white' residue. It shines tires really well and even interior trim.

Try it out, in Canada its about $15 a bottle tax included/.

I personally use a heavily diluted Simple Green and let it sit for a bit, then get in there with an old sponge and some soap. I then get the shop vac out and blow is dry.

Wheel wells, clean with APC. Then spray Black magic tire foam. Your done!
Trim, if it's bad try cleaning with APC 10:1 rag magic eraser work well with APC if it oxidized. Apply your favorite dressing.
