HD Fabric Protector
Description
This amazing, super hydrophobic product can be used on fabric, leather, suede, and many other materials. You can blot away any greasy or watery spills with an absorbent cloth or tissue. Water repllency can be restored to clothing as well. Can be used on any fabric surface and will not change the feel, look or breathability of the fabric.
Instructions
WARNING: Before using this product, MAKE SURE TO TEST FOR COLOR FASTNESS IN AN INCONSPICUOUS AREA. If color rubs off or changes, do not use.

DIRECTIONS:
Make sure material is clean and dry before using.
1. Adjust spray button to dot on rim.
2. Hold can upright and about 6 inches from fabric. Spray with a slow sweeping motion until evenly covered and overlap. Pleats and creases will not be affected.
3. Protect surrounding areas from over spray. If over spray occurs gently wipe off with a soft cloth.
4. Spray lightly when applying to nylon and other dark shiny synthetic fabrics.
5. After using product, allow material to dry for one hour.
6. Test for repellency: sprinkle a few drops of water on the treated material. If water soaks into substrate, repeat.
7. Reapply after cleaning or laundering.
Product Description
Cquartz Fabric & Leather Coat
Cquartz Fabric & Leather protection is nano-technology based and is an extremely durable Super HydroPhobic product for fabric and leather protecting against UV degradation, sweat, salt, water, liquids, dirt, bacteria, and stains. Fabric & Leather Coat does all this without affecting the breath-ability of the material. Traditional products make fabrics feel stiff and clog the weave of the fabric, preventing breath-ability. They are unable to stand up to tough cleaners and less resistant to wear. Using nanotechnology, our treatment is small enough to attach to individual fibers, delivering superior performance characteristics without compromising the look, feel, or comfort of the fabric and without clogging the fabric weave.
Cquartz Fabric & Leather transforms the substrate into a super hydrophobic surface that is both durable, flexible, and long lasting against harsh or caustic detergents.

After water applied, as quick as I could dip fingers in bowl of water and then take picture.

This is my first application of HD Fabric protector and seems to work very well.
This is my review of both products; your mileage may very well vary. See and judge for yourself.

I only have a bit left that I'm using to test some more. It's only $13. for an 8 oz bottle. You won't mind buying it once you try it, trust me!

Im really exited to try this as I have lately been impressed with some of HD's other products. How many cars could you do with a can about? And how long does it last? Im new to the whole fabric protection thing but want to add it to my detailing menu.

How many square feet of carpet and upholstery are in a typical 4-Door sedan?

"Coverage: (Estimates shown based on spray for fabric and spray/spread for leather)

· 1.0ml per 1 sq. ft. for leather application
· 2.7ml per 1 sq. ft for fabric application"

Based on the above, it seems very expensive per application.

$.22 per ml = $.59 per square foot

No, you are correct. And the other stuff doesn't look very impressive either. Wonder if application was messed up because the videos of the carpro fabric protector look great.
