I have a flex 3401

Pads I currently have are 6.5in. I eventually want to get 5.5 and smaller 4in sized pads for tighter areas.

Lake country CCS:

Yellow (compound) ?
Orange (compound) ?
Grey (polish) ?
White (polish) ?
Red (wax) ?

Products Ill be using

Megs 105 compound
Megs 205 polish
Megs #26 wax

Which pads to use for which product and speed setting? I am also looking for good tutorial videos for compounding. I dont want to burn through paint compounding. Trying to keep it simple. Using these 3 products and LC pads only. I see people using wool, foam and MF pads. Also what backing plates would I need for these different pads (5.5 & 4in) ? There are so many different types of techniques & pads that im getting confused trying to figure out how to do it correctly. I have heard to keep it moving and you wont burn through. I've used the red for wax before but have been holding off on compounding for awhile. Thanks!
