View Full Version : Is this clear coat failure?

Hi everyone. My cousin has an acura tsx 2006 and he started noticing a few of these weird "bubbles" shown below. They aren't something that "dropped" on the car because it's smooth and feels like some how the paint had risen up and formed that weird bubble with a totally different color. I want to ask if anyone knows what this is and if it can be fixed? Much appreciated for any feedback.

No, that's not clearcoat failure. If you say they feel raised that looks like some sort of tree gunk, sap, etc. Try some isopropyl alcohol, tar remover, mineral spirits, etc.

they didnt feel sticky or anything. but i'll give those suggestions a try.
