Okay....I live in Baytown which is just southeast of Houston. I do not have a garage available. It seems like it's sunny every day and mid 90's and on the days when it's cloudy, it rains. Since all of the polishes and waxes say do not use in direct sunlight, I feel like I'm just screwed. If I go somewhere where there's shade I don't have electricity available for the PC. Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance for your help.

You can get a pop-up canopy for <$100. I have an EZ-Up that I got on season-end clearance, although I find it's difficult for one person to put up. There are tons of canopy threads on here, look around a bit.

time to invest , or save $ and invest , you can`t get pro results with a pc only....
you are limited in your options..

i have an 10x20 canopy , in less than 5 min is up. i use to go cheap with an 12x12 - half cars was out , i can`t compare.

i said "PC only" , and i mean you can`t have pro result, when you lack in equipment.
that in case the OP try to generate income from detailing.
you have much more options and better results when you have more equipment , make sense?

So rotary, and four other machines? I think this guy, like me is just trying to do stuff himself and looking for a good way.

I think I need a Rotary with some wool pads to get where I want to go or trying the DA and som MF pads. I have comp Air at the house So Im good there.

Yes, I'm just doing my car and my wife's SUV. I have absolutely no desire to start a business detailing. However, from what I've read here I think I may make a trip over to Academy Sports to look at my canopy options.

Garry Dean's products are also made specifically to work in the sun.
