I just used up my bottle of Wolfgang Deep Gloss paint sealant (original version) and I'm considering options for replacement. The photos below are Wolfgang Deep Gloss with Pinnacle Souverain Carnuba on top, finished with machine buff. No complaints with this combination, but I'm wondering what different options have to offer since I need to buy something anyway.

Is the 3.0 version of Wolfgang DG much different from the original? Are there advantages that an acrylic like Klasse have over the Wolfgang in terms of shine and durabilty? I've read a lot about the need to go very thin with the Klasse but I'm guessing if applied properly, they are similar in their ease of use.

The other product I'm curious about is Poly Charger? Any good or a gimmick?

While am am obsessive about keeping my car looking great, time is a factor, having a full time career (which isn't automotive in nature) on the side, a couple of teenage boys and a DH who likes to occasionally spend time with me.

Please share your detailing wisdom.

Have you looked into CG jetseal? While expensive it goes on and off like butter.

I really like the 3.0 version of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint sealant...Good Stuff!! :props:

Now...Instead of delving into, and furthering the debates of:
-Acrylic vs Polymer
-Klasse vs Meg's 21 2.0
-Zaino vs. Detailer's Pro Series Poli-Coat Paint Sealant
-DuraGloss vs. Blackfire Wet Diamond
-PolyCharging vs. Leave LSP: "as is"...

I'll just say:

I am not a fan of Klasse. At least the AIO. BFWD is great. Easy on, easy off.

One also has to ask what makes a product acrylic and what makes a product polymer? From the formulation world, one could easily conclude that the terms are not adequately defined in detailing circles to be sure that two people might not market the same product by one of the two terms (or, for that matter, both - as Bob says).

Moral is not to read too much into marketing terminology - trust in real world performance.

If time is a factor, you might want to consider the new DP paint coating, which claims to give:
-excellent durability
-scratch resistance
-dust repellency

Additionally, you can also top it with any sealant or wax.
I've used WG DGPS 3.o and Klasse HGSG, and either one of them will give you a nice glossy look.
