Good Evening AG's,

I'm looking to add One Step Polish to my product line.

Currently, I have the following:
1. Megs 105
2. Megs 205
3. Menz SF4500
4. Klasse AIO

I know that Klasse AIO is your typical AIO product, but I prefer to top any vehicle polished with a sealant unless otherwise asked by the client. Klasse is an excellent product, but I'm not 100% sold on its protective qualities. I'd like to add a product that falls between megs 205 and 105...a search returned these suggestions...

1. Menz PF2500
2. Megs D151

If you were going to do a single step polish, and then follow with a LSP, which of the two products listed above would you use? Obviously, a lot depends on the vehicle and the hardness of its paint, but in general, which product would you turn to.

Thanks, Kieran

There's also Sonax Perfect Finish which is the new kid on the block. Check out

The Ultimate 1-Step Showdown! - Autopia Forums - Auto Detailing & Car Care Discussion Forum (http://www.autopiaforums.com/forums/detailing-product-reviews/42780-ultimate-1-step-showdown.html)

But between the two I'd choose 2500 Since 151 is similar to an all in one instead of a medium cut high gloss finish? Are you using foam or microfiber pads? If MF what about D300/301?

I would go with menz PF2500 for sure.

I use both MF and foam, but primarily foam.

Out of those two mentioned, I'd go with PF2500.

Out of your 2 choices....

D151. I always top with something else because the durability is just not there. A great product for production type work and the price point is good.

With foam or mf or even wool D151 plays well and has some good cut and finishing capabilities.

have you thought about Menz FG-400? That has been my go to one step polish, i would just change the cut of the pad for the different types of paints :xyxthumbs:

How about XMT 360? I've used this on a couple of cars and have been very impressed with the results. I used a green CCS pad as recommended. Its advertised for 3-4 months of protection too.

I would suggest Menz PF2500, it produces a great finish in one step. It can definitely removed fine swirls but not RIDS, but if the latter one is not your concern, PF2500 can do the job.
Recently did my ride and topped with SNH

I ordered some 3D HD Polish. Hope to be able to try it this weekend. It's supposed to be sun friendly. Not sure about the rest.

I use FG400 or D300 for most 1 steps.

I usually reach for PF2500 on soft paints.

For harder paints you can try D300 or SIP. Or even FG400 if the paint is hard enough.

I enjoy using PF2500 but M205 is also a viable option for a 1 step when paired with the appropriate pad.
