Just curious if someone knows if M105 / M205 is that much different that Pinnacle Swirl Remover and Advanced Finishing polish ?

I am working on my wife's RAV4 and need to get some light water spots and swirls out

I have both of those Pinnacle products already, (and also have some 3M "Finesse It II", and some old Meguiar's "Deep Crystal Polish")

I'll be using a Porter Cable for the most part.

I just wanted to know if the M series products were a little more aggressive (for lack of a better term right now) than the other products mentioned

OR

are they relatively the same ?

(note: I don't think the problem areas are bad enough to have to wet sand)

Autogeek Swirl Removers & Compounds Comparison Chart (http://www.auto-geek.net/charts/wax-cut-chart-master.htm)

According to the chart, M105 is more aggressive than Swirl Remover and M205 is the same cut as Adv. Finishing Polish.

Given that it is a toyota, and you said 'light' water spots - I would doubt you needed anything as aggressive as a compound. Toyota typically has very soft paint - a finishing polish should do the trick when paired with the appropriate pad.
