On my Prius I got two nicks in the paint on the hood. I just noticed they have rust in the pockets. these are small as you can see a standard pencil shown for size. I might be able to scrape the rust out with a needle, but what would be the next step after that. these are just so small but could lead to further rust where I cant see it on the underside. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y252/tach18k/carhood.jpg

A fiberglass rust pen, toothpick and factory color is all you need, unless you want to make it a little better then you may have some luck using a product like Dr. ColorChip or Langka (I think both sold by AG)

I don't think you have rust but I can't see the pics to clearly.
I hope you don't have rust but if you do you need to clean/neutralize the rust.
After the rust is taken car of you need to paint.
I love Dr. Color Chip.
You'll get more of these chips so a DCC kit will keep them at bay for the life of your car.
