Lc hybrid pads on a rupes 21

Hi all, I thought I read somewhere but couldn't find it again, that the 6.5" lc hybrid pads will fit on a rupes 21 with the 5.5" backing plate correct? How do these pads play with the rupes? I've pretty much only used the rupes pads with the rupes. Lemme know, looking to place an order with the latest sale.

So from what I have found and checked with what I have the answer is they will fit BUT not a true fit so you can run into issues.

The velcro backing on the Hybrid pads is 6 inches. The Rupes BP is 5 inches so you will have too much space IMO for them to work properly.

FWIW the Hydrotech pads work great with the Rupes. I haven't had one issue as of yet.

6.5" pads is what I have used and they fit the Rupes BP perfectly

I use them on the 21 but be careful. The 21 is so strong it can rip the backing right off the pad while it's working. The backing on Rupes pads is MUCH stronger.
