Received a big shipment from AG yesterday of the Duragloss products and used them this morning on my truck. Everything from the 501, 105, 601, 901 and AW worked as reviewed on here. Very pleased.

I also bought the Ultimate Detail Spray and non Silicone Dressing. I really like the Silicone Dressing on the tires and the Detail Spray works great on black trim areas such as on the top of the bumpers and around the windshield wiper cowling. However the detail spray is in an aersol can and I can see myself using it up very quickly. Just curious if there are better valued products for the trim such as the Rubber and Flat black dressing #271?

I'm not a big fan of any product containing silicone. They don't last long and are greasy and run on your paint in the rain.
My go to dressing is Chemical Guys VRP. Very easy to control the amount of gloss. I cut mine 50/50 with distilled water. Apply let sit 5 minutes and buff to a nice satin shine. Finishes out dry to the touch and water proof to boot.

Ultima Tire and Trim Guard for durability and Car Pro Perl for value.

271 is a hidden gem. It is my favorite product to use plastic trim. Check out the cowl 50/50 shot I took. Completely restored the trim and it lasts months.

271 is nice, but no durability for me.. 2 months tops. Ultima will give me 7 months outside and over a year garaged.

After reading the description and reviews on the Ultima it sounds like it protects what is already there and will Not bring back a nice black color. Is this a true statement? My inlaws have an expedition that has the really faded grey trim. What do u use to bring back non black trim?

Scrub it with a water spot remover and protect with Ultima.

I had some pretty faded trim pieces on my truck. The trim is a charcoal gray. I absolutely love Ultima trim and tire guard. It brought the color back and doesn't run in the rain at all. One of my favorite products.

Never tried the ultima. I'm sure it's good but for ~$32 I'd rather go with DLUX. The DG 271 works and is dirt cheap. I easily get 3 months minimum out of it too. It's the most durable thing I've used on plastics. Try applying it thick next time, letting it dry, then buff off the excess.
